Know More About Us

The Christ Church Girls' School owes its name to the Christ Church Cathedral, where it made its humble beginning, on 1st June 1870. The school began with just 6 students. It has come a long way since then and now has more than 2400 girls. The school strictly adheres to the rules made by the Central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE) and maintains an ideal Teacher-Pupil Ratio.

It is observed that children today are unfortunately subjected to many avoidable stresses and strains, which at times have serious consequences. FAQ's

The admission rules in CBSE schools vary from school to school. Generally, CBSE schools follow certain guidelines set by the Central Board of Secondary Education for the admission process. These guidelines may include factors such as age eligibility, submission of required documents (such as birth certificate, transfer certificate, and academic records), and criteria for seat availability. Additionally, some CBSE schools may conduct entrance exams or interviews as part of the admission process. It is recommended to directly contact the CBSE schools you are interested in to obtain detailed information about their specific admission rules and procedures.

Yes, CBSE allows private students to appear for board exams. Private candidates refer to those students who are not enrolled in any regular school affiliated with the CBSE board but wish to appear for the CBSE board exams. Private candidates have the opportunity to register for the CBSE exams directly with the board by following the registration process and paying the required fees. It is important for private candidates to carefully review the guidelines and instructions provided by CBSE regarding the registration process, exam dates, and other relevant details to ensure a smooth examination experience.

Yes, it is possible for a student to switch their admission from ICSE (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education) to CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education). However, the process may vary depending on the policies and guidelines of the individual schools. Generally, the student would need to obtain a transfer certificate from their ICSE school and submit it along with other necessary documents, such as academic records, birth certificate, and address proof, to the CBSE school they wish to join. The CBSE school may also have specific requirements, such as appearing for an entrance test or an interview. It is advisable to directly contact the CBSE school for detailed information on the specific process and requirements.

Direct admission to Class 12th in a CBSE board is generally not allowed. CBSE follows a systematic progression of education, and students are expected to complete the preceding classes before advancing to the next level. Therefore, students who wish to join a CBSE school in Class 12th would typically need to provide the necessary documents, including the transfer certificate, academic records, and other required documents, to demonstrate that they have completed the previous years of schooling in a recognized board.

Yes, many CBSE schools provide the option to pay school fees online. With the increasing use of technology, CBSE schools have adopted online payment systems to facilitate a convenient and streamlined fee payment process for parents and guardians. Online payment portals or mobile applications are often made available by schools, allowing parents to securely make fee payments using various online payment methods such as credit cards, debit cards, net banking, or digital wallets. It is advisable to check with the respective CBSE school to determine the available online payment options and instructions for fee payment.
